VOLUNTEER FOR NFL KICKOFF 2018!

The NFL Kickoff 2018 will be held in Philadelphia on Thursday, September 6 from 10AM—8PM. The NFL Kickoff Experience, which will be located at Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing, is built for NFL fans of all ages.  Fans can take pictures with the Vince Lombardi Trophy and enjoy interactive exhibits and autograph sessions with NFL Legends. The festivities conclude with a 40-minute pregame concert featuring Shawn Mendes. NFL Kickoff Experience is FREE. Whether you’re a native to the city of Philadelphia and love to help visitors find their way around, an avid NFL fan, or enjoy contributing to the success of Philadelphia events, we have a volunteer position that’s right for you.

IMPORTANT VOLUNTEER DETAILS:

1.  REQUIREMENTS:  Individual shifts will last approximately 4 to 5 hours. ALL VOLUNTEERS MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER.  Please note that all volunteer positions will be outdoors, standing or walking for long periods of time, actively engaging with guests and will include using a tablet to interact with the guests at each area. 

2.  AVAILABILITY:  Thursday, September 6 there are opportunities for all accepted volunteers. Volunteer positions available in NFL Kickoff Experience include: Kickoff Ambassadors (working with Fan Mobile Pass, the data collection initiative of the NFL), interactive games, Wayfinding, Volunteer Check-In, Sponsor Activations, Virtual Reality, Play Football Activations, Vince Lombardi Trophy, Super Bowl Rings Display, Ambassadors for the Kickoff Concert featuring Shawn Mendes, and much, much more! Volunteers will be provided with training upon arrival on-site. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility. 

3.  TRAINING:  Confirmed volunteers will receive information specific to the event, their positions, and other important instructions upon arrival for their selected shift. More detailed information will be shared soon.

4.  UNIFORM:  Volunteers will receive a volunteer shirt and hat. The official volunteer uniform shirt and jacket should be worn to all shifts with clean and well-maintained khakis or black long pants and comfortable shoes – sneakers are encouraged! Please no jeans. 

5. DAY OF EVENT:  All volunteers will be required to arrive at the exact start time of their shift to register, receive their credential and their uniform. We will provide a hat & shirt to all volunteers. Parking and other transportation perks may be provided but we encourage you to carpool when you can!  All volunteers are welcome to stay past their shift to enjoy the experience and Kickoff Concert, however we ask that you please change out of your volunteer shirt and hat. Please note that there will be no public viewing of the Philadelphia Eagles vs Atlanta Falcons game on Thursday evening at the Kickoff Experience. More information will be sent out as we get closer to the date.

6. FAN MOBILE PASS:  All volunteers should register for Fan Mobile Pass by visiting nfl.com/FanMobilePass.  Fan Mobile Pass (FMP) is now open for registration!  Registering for Fan Mobile Pass will enable our fans to win tickets to Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta, signed memorabilia, Eagles gear, but also receive exclusive access to all of the action at NFL Kickoff Experience.
